Bria Larson, MS, LAc, is your ally in wellness and healing. Taking her cue from nature, Bria’s practice respects the ever-changing landscapes of our bodies and minds, and uses acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and Maya Abdominal Therapy to help patients navigate these shifts with greater ease and awareness.
Bria completed her Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine at the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco, and is licensed as an acupuncturist in the state of California.
Bria holds national certification in acupuncture and Chinese herbology from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Clinical training includes internships at the California Pacific Medical Center’s Stroke and Rehabilitation Center as well as the ACTCM Community Clinics. Advanced studies include Constitutional Facial Acupuncture Renewal with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield and she is currently pursuing a post-graduate specialization certificate in Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology.
Bria is also a trained practitioner of Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy as taught by Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN. She also completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Program at The Yoga Loft, San Francisco. She earned her BA in Art History from Williams College, MA.
In addition to her private practice, Bria offers on-site acupuncture services at Twitter headquarters in San Francisco, and she was proud to be a member of the team of volunteer clinicians at The Women’s Community Clinic.
Jessy Daya-Washburn is a licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist, and Maya Abdominal Therapy Practitioner. She earned a Master of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University in San Jose, CA. She received her Maya Abdominal Therapy training from the Arvigo Institute and was taught by Dr. Rosita Arvigo.
As a practitioner, Jessy’s commitment is to deliver tangible and long lasting results. To that end, she integrates a variety of healing styles to help the patients who come to her for pain management, gynecological issues, fertility challenges, anxiety and depression, insomnia, digestive issues, and other ailments. In a session with her, depending on the pathology, you might receive a combination of acupuncture, moxa, cupping, Maya Arvigo Therapy and deep tissue massage. She is also well versed in nutrition and can help you design a dietary protocol to reach your health goals.
Jessy was the Official Acupuncturist for the 2009 Summer National Senior Games in Palo Alto. She has been a long term volunteer at the Charlotte Maxwell Complimentary Clinic which provides free care to underserved women with cancer. When she is not busy needling or massaging people or learning better techniques, Jessy can be found hiking up and down scenic trails in the Bay area.
